WTDGA'S Lydia Siipola Receives National Federation of Coaches Award

Hunterdon Central's Varsity Golf Girls' Coach, Lydia Siipola has been selected to receive the 2009 Northeast Sectional Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High School Sports. The Northeast Section (Section 1) consists of all the New England states, New York and New Jersey.

Coach Siipola received her award on March 28, 2010 at the Pines Manor in Edison, NJ

The award recognized Coach Siipola's distinguished background, experience, service and promotion of girls team golf at the state and national levels.

WTDGA gives Back

Tuesday August 3rd Entry fees for the Two Best Balls of 4 at Greenacres and Hopewell Valley will include a donation to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.

Swap your prize certificates

If you have won prize certificates, but were not able to redeem at the host club, this is your chance to swap with another winner.

In the past WTDGA winners have done this on their own. This season we will try to facilitate the process.

To list your swap, send an email to lorraine.kostinas@gmail.com with your name, certificate amount and the club that issued the certificate, with the subject line "Certificate Swap"

• Indicate which clubs would be more convenient for you.

• Your request will be posted. It will be up to the parties to contact each other.

• Other than name and club, no contact information will be posted , you must use your WTDGA Directory to contact the member.
